St. Alphonsus and St. Alexis Schools to Merge as Part of Regionalization
St. Alphonsus and St. Alexis schools will merge, it was announced at Masses over the Feb. 18-19 weekend. Both campuses will remain open. St. Alphonsus will house kindergarten through eighth grades; St. Alexis will house preschool students.
Robert D. Reese will continue as principal at St. Alphonsus.
The format of the merger was the top choice of a task force made up of St. Alphonsus and St. Alexis representatives. The merger, which goes into effect in fall 2017, is part of an overall regionalization plan for Catholic elementary schools in the North Hills.
