North Hills Regional Catholic Elementary Schools
Our Catholic schools are critical to the future, not just of our Church but of our world. They educate not just the mind, but the heart and spirit as well.— Bishop David A. Zubik
Currently we are in the process of regionalizing the following Catholic elementary schools in the North Hills by merging 7 schools into 3:
- Blessed Francis Seelos Academy – from merging St. Alphonsus / St. Alexis,
- Blessed Trinity Academy – from merging St. Bonaventure / St. Ursula / St. Mary of the Assumption;
- Holy Cross Academy – from merging St. Sebastian / St. Teresa of Avila.
The newly formed Board of Directors of the North Hills Regional Catholic Elementary Schools has been charged with making decisions about the regionalization process. Regional Administrator Michael Killmeyer oversees the day-to-day operations of the schools.
The NHRCES Board has been communicating by letters, all of which are listed below along with letters from Bishop David A. Zubik, the Regional Administrator and the pastors of St. Alphonsus and St. Alexis.
These letters were sent out previously in electronic form to our parishioners and school families. In case you did not see them, we are publishing these links to the letters to ensure everyone stays informed.
