Men’s and Women’s Retreats

The Women’s Retreat and Men’s Retreat are great opportunities to get away from the world for two days. Our retreats are always scheduled on back-to-back weekends in January. The hectic holiday season is past and it is truly a time to reflect on the old and plan your new year. The retreat starts Friday evening and ends about noon on Sunday. The schedule is given at the beginning of the weekend so you can decide what you would like to attend and when you might want some personal time for reflection or a good nap! No attendance is taken. It also is a chance to get some great conversation in with your friends from St. Alphonsus. If you are new to St. Alphonsus it is a great way to meet fellow parishioners. Contact Mark at markp@prybyldds.com for details on the men’s retreat or Eileen at eminnock697@msn.com info about the women’s weekend.

Men’s Emmaus Retreat

Are you looking for a retreat for men from all walks of life? That is what the Pittsburgh Men’s Emmaus Retreat Weekend is.

The retreat is a gathering of men, ages 18 and up. Some are Christian, some are not. Some have no faith at all. Many have questions about life, themselves and God. “Does God even exist? Does God have a place in my life?”

The retreat takes place in a relaxed atmosphere, Friday night through Sunday afternoon, minutes from home. A private room and food are provided.
