From Our Pastor – Bulletin Message for July 8, 2018
Relax and Reflect
I write this note to you the day after our “Hoops for Life” camp ended, which concludes the bulk of our campus activity until August (other than maintenance work on buildings and the parking lot). For a few weeks in July, 201 Church Road is relatively calm!
I hope that you have — or will have — a chance this summer to spend time relaxing and vacationing, rejuvenating the body and soul.
I am taking a vacation (a stay-cation this year) from July 13-20, and have priests lined up to cover Masses and confession during this time. As I spend time reflecting and praying in thanksgiving to God, I am certain that one of the “themes” of my prayer will be a piece of advice that I heard in the 8th grade: If you surround yourself with good people, good things will happen.
That statement sums up a good portion of my life in the past three years here at St. Al’s.
Yours in Christ,
Fr. Kevin C. Fazio
