Our parish women’s organization—the Christian Mothers’/Women’s Guild—is open to all women. It is devoted to the spiritual enrichment of the members as well as service to the parish, school and community. Through a variety of activities, women have the opportunity to be involved at the level that suits their time. A baby shower for those in need within the Pittsburgh Diocese, filling Easter baskets for local food banks, hosting the Christmas Bazaar for the students of St. Alphonsus School and the parish, funding a scholarship for a graduate of the school, and supporting the needs of the parish through prayer, service and monetary support are all parts of the whole.

Monthly meetings are filled with the opportunity to share in the humor and similarities of being a woman, a mother, a sister in this ever-changing world. Whether you are a lifetime member of the parish and looking for a chance to reconnect with friends from long ago, or new to the parish and looking for the opportunity to meet new friends and find a small niche to fill a void, we welcome you and look forward to seeing you. The parish Women’s Guild is associated through the diocese with The National Council of Catholic Women (NCCW).
