When the Holy Spirit starts working, there’s just no stopping it!
First, the Spirit moved our Men’s Fellowship to volunteer to deliver Fish Fry dinners to our homebound parishioners last year. Non-members joined in with the deliveries and parishioners stepped up with donations to pay for the dinners.
Not only did our homebound parishioners get a nice Fish Fry dinner, they also got to spend time in fellowship with those making the deliveries.
This year, the Men’s Fellowship is again coordinating this program and men, women and families are stepping up to help with the deliveries. We are expanding the program by partnering with North Hills Community Outreach, which is giving us the names of the homebound and needy whom it serves.
The parish planned to pay for these dinners, but an anonymous donor has offered to pay for 25 Fish Fry meals for the March 16 delivery.
Many thanks to our donor and the volunteers who are making this happen!
